Balloons Over Broadway Fun in Mrs. Harriger’s Class! 🎈
After reading Balloons Over Broadway, the story behind the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mrs. Harriger’s students created their very own parade balloons!

Using foil, markers, and lots of imagination, our young artists designed characters, turkeys, and creative floats to celebrate the upcoming holiday. We love seeing their creativity come to life! 🦃🎨💛

Our 3rd graders had a blast this week learning about area in a hands-on (and hilarious!) way—using toilet paper squares as their unit of measurement! 🧻📏

Students worked together to measure the area of desks, tables, shelves, and spaces around the classroom. This creative activity helped them understand how area is found by covering a surface with equal-size units. So much teamwork, problem-solving, and math talk happening all around!

Way to go, 3rd grade mathematicians! 🔢💡✨

Collaborating to Solve Two-Step Word Problems!
Our students worked together today to tackle multi-step math problems using teamwork, discussion, and shared strategies. Each group read their word problem, talked through the steps, showed their thinking on chart paper, and then proudly presented their solution. We love seeing our learners explain their reasoning and support each other as they work through challenging tasks. Great job, mathematicians! 💡✏️📊
